My Story

The passion for my career began as a young child. Growing up I was engaged with drawing from all sorts of inspirational sources from books, photos, cereal boxes, to even computer design programs. In addition, painting or drawing on scrap wood and tinkering with 3D projects in my dad’s workshop was always exciting. Naturally using my creative side along with my passion for wanting to help and relate with others, I had the opportunity and found joy in giving one-of-a-kind art pieces when birthdays and holidays came around. I find this still resonates with me today and has become my foundation for a variety of design pieces.

During my childhood, the foundation of winning several coloring and fairground art contests and earning an Art Studio degree at Coastal Carolina University where my art was chosen to be displayed in galleries, were just parts of the experience. Playing sports throughout my collegiate years taught me discipline and dependability, which also helped mold me to become the designer I am today. I learned to communicate with others, be strong, never give up, and to always strive to exceed goals. In addition, traveling from China to South Africa, and all over the United States, taught me to open my eyes as a designer. Visiting new places and experiencing new cultures frees my mind and allows me to be more creative and mindful in my designs for others. With 15+ years of corporate experience working as a Marketing Coordinator using my design skills has taught me how important design can be to company growth and how it can build a lasting impression.

I am also thankful for each and every life experience, whether good or bad because after experiencing all life situations, we learn, grow and continue our own individual story and mold us to be who we are today. There’s been seasons in my own personal life with some life altering struggles that helped me to grow and become stronger. Experiencing chronic back issues, fighting through a back fusion, spontaneous pneumothorax and a couple other life altering incidents, and not being able to do my normal activities, I found myself at times feeling like I lost my identity and that my soul was in search of a purpose again. With the support of my husband, two boys, family, friends and doctors, I’ve learned a tremendous amount and found new growth and perspective. With better brighter days, I’m finding new strength and wanting to connect, help encourage, and support others. Which led me to a new chapter in my artistic designs and thrilled to be able to connect with others through storyboard designs! It all started with my very first design about my story, titled; Living a Life in Balance. It’s wonderful to see, hear, connect, and help others express their stories with the goal of supporting each other.

I’m embracing to let my creative side radiate, and most of all I am excited to share my talents with others, so that they too can push forward with their dreams. Helping others succeed is what truly motivates me to share my artistic talents. I am a humble, dedicated, and enthusiastic artist, constantly striving to ensure an effective outcome. I pay attention to each detail on every project, to make sure I am consistently exceeding every client’s expectation. I thrive on constantly trying new designs and ways to connect and create pieces for all.
